The Story Behind Storybook
Even after 109 years of experience, we still encounter exciting new opportunities and our newly completed Storybrook community in South Burnaby is no exception. Allow us to explain.
When we first acquired the property that was to become Storybrook, we learned that a section of Byrne Creek was running through underground pipes. We decided to bring light to this long-forgotten stream by working closely with a team of environmentalists who understood the necessary steps to ensure our success. By day-lighting and restoring this fish-bearing waterway a delicate eco-system has been brought back to life to form a spectacular and natural focal point for the community of Storybrook. Residents of these homes can all enjoy a park-like courtyard overlooking the stream serving as a beautiful reminder that every good story has a happy ending.
The Grand Opening of this newly completed, move-in ready community is scheduled for Saturday, March 29th from 12 – 6pm. Stay tuned for more exciting details regarding this beautiful new addition to Stride Avenue located in a quiet corner of the Edmonds neighbourhood.
